Columbia Park is a 52-acre regional park in the City of Torrance, located in Southern California, approximately 33 miles south of the Los Angeles International Airport. It is one of thirty parks in the Torrance Parks network, which also includes three neighborhood parks: Iron gate Park, Willow Park and West Willow Park. The park encompasses rolling hills, grass, and hiking trails offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles Harbor, nearby coastline, and surrounding communities. Facilities include baseball diamonds, bocce ball courts and picnic areas with barbecues, while flowers and herbs abound in six community gardening beds. Torrance offers an abundance of recreational and cultural opportunities. Each neighborhood has something to offer from walking or running along the shoreline, picnicking at one of the many parks, or listening to a concert at the newly reformatted center for the arts.
